Wuhan Health Organization

Some mischief mongers have dubbed World Health Organization (WHO) as Wuhan Health Organization. There is a also a big rumor that the Chinese government had bribed WHO officials to hide the outbreak of Covid-19. Before breaking the reality about the outstanding work done by WHO in improving the health standards of the people all over the world, let me crack the scapegoat finding puzzle. Why the intelligence agencies of superpower nations have failed to detect the “Chinese game”? If we agree that this pandemic was beyond the control of human brains, unitedly we shall work to overcome the Corona Virus. Otherwise, we keep barbing at each other. 

The United States of America which has the top most intelligence agencies and technological mega power in the world has failed miserably in preventing the Covid-19. WHO alerted the human to human transmission of Corona Virus on 10 January. This was just ten days after confirming with China, the country of Covid-19 origin.Even if we presume that the Chinese have tricked in Corona virus into USA, whose fault? President Donald Trump was praising the efficiency of Chinese in handling the Covid-19. He was mouthful of praises for Chinese President  Xi Jinping’s leadership in handling Corona Virus till the end of February. Two weeks later, he called Covid-19 as “Chinese Virus”. Some of the White House officials have termed Corona Virus as “Kung Flu”. In reverse, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lijian  Zhua told that the American soldiers brought Corona Virus to China in September 2019. These kinds of war of words have destroyed the morale and financial muscle of World Health Organization.

WHO was started on 7 April 1948. It is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. $6 billion was budgeted for WHO activities in 2018. 194 member countries and two associate members (Puerto Rico and Tokelau) get guidance from WHO. USA contributed $400 million and China gave $86 million. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Gavi Alliance, Rotary International are some of the NGO patrons of WHO . In the last seven decades WHO played a pivotal role in the eradication of Small Pox, Malaria, Polio, HIV/AIDS, H1N1, SARS, MERS, Zika, Ebola etc., in many countries. In the war torn nations like Syria, Yemen, Iraq etc, WHO had done a commendable job in saving many lives especially children. 

 Isn’t the duty of every government to prevent pandemics and protect its people. In the international politics it is natural that nations keep moving  to the top by pushing others. Different methods are used to push down the rivals. Corona virus may be used. If it was used, not only WHO but also intelligence agencies of big nations have failed miserably. Intelligence agencies should not only watch military sneaking but also Virus sneaking.

G-7 nations have lost more than 70000 people to Corona Virus. More than half of the current victims belong to the G-7 countries. It is worst than any other violence. Covid-19 destruction of advanced nations shows the collective failure. Once again the intelligence about pandemics and health resumes utmost significance. In future, none especially WHO should be blamed for this type of pandemic. Every nation should be cautious and preventive against the outbreak of pandemics.
